ADVENTURE
Explore the surrounding landscape with us. Guided by our specialists, your day is shaped around your pace and preferences - from wandering lowland glens to climbing higher into the hills, with the chance to slip into hidden swim spots we keep tucked away. Expect fresh air, open conversation, and a wilder way of seeing the landscape. It’s about connection: to nature, to each other, and to the places you might not find alone.
Spend the day with a leading wilderness specialist - a guide, storyteller, and naturalist rooted in Highland traditions and connected to wild places across the world. You’ll explore the skills our ancestors relied on: foraging, fire-craft and fire cooking, shelter building, tool making, tanning, leather work, wood carving, basketry, and more.
This is about survival, slowing down, connecting with the land, and rediscovering knowledge that’s at risk of being lost. Expect hands-on learning, inspiring stories, and a deeper sense of what it means to live with nature rather than apart from it.
Take a gentle, sensory walk through the glen with an animated guide, uncovering native plants, wildlife, and the stories rooted in this land. Among pines, birch, and oak, discover the hidden uses of herbs, learn simple tea-making, and gain a deeper understanding of how nature sustains us. This is an invitation to slow down, notice the finer details, and connect with the landscape — protecting what we have by experiencing it more closely, and carrying that calm and knowledge with you.
Step into the role our ancestors once knew - moving with patience, awareness, and respect through the landscape in search of deer. Guided by expert stalkers, you’ll learn the art of tracking and understanding these majestic animals, while gaining insight into the ecology they are part of. An ethical, sustainable way of bringing food to the table, rooted in ancient knowledge and a deep connection to the land.
See the landscape from a new perspective as you descend hidden rock faces normally out of reach. Guided by a leading rope specialist, you’ll learn how to adapt to the conditions of the day, solve problems as they arise, and move at a slower, more mindful pace. This is about trust, awareness, and discovering the wild Highlands from a viewpoint few ever experience.
CULINARY
Tom Lewis doesn’t just cook food - he lives it. As chef-owner of Monachyle Mhor Hotel in Balquhidder, he’s spent decades transforming a family farm into one of Scotland’s most exciting food destinations. The land is his larder: sheep, cattle, and pigs raised on the farm, wild deer from the surrounding hills, and an endless supply of seasonal, local, and foraged ingredients.
Dinner with Tom is about more than what’s on the plate. It’s about stories, laughter, and an infectious passion for ingredients that come straight from the soil, the forest, or the glen outside the door. His food connects directly to Rvival’s mission - a reminder that what we eat is part of a bigger story about nature, place, and people. Expect a feast that is rooted, real, and full of personality.
Spend a day bringing food from your surroundings to your plate. Guided by Rvival’s chefs, you’ll learn ancient and modern ways of working with the land - from smoking and fire-cooking to underground pits, curing, preserving, pickling, and fermenting.
This is a wild food journey from land to fire and feast, showing you how to cook with what’s around you and how to carry those skills home. Expect hands-on techniques, stories, and top tips for weaving sustainable, seasonal, and wild produce into your own kitchen.
A hands-on butchery experience where you’ll learn to break down a whole deer - using every part of the animal with skill and respect.
From skinning to smoking, curing to cooking, and a wine-paired lunch in between, this is full-circle learning that changes how you source, prepare, and value meat. Leave with the confidence to butcher your own - and never waste a cut again.
Join us for a sensory journey into the art of wild mixology. Guided by our experts, you’ll craft cocktails using seasonal syrups, tinctures, and foraged ingredients, paired with handcrafted spirits, sparkling wine, and a whisky dram. It’s a playful, creative way to unwind after a day in nature - and to carry a few wild tricks back to your own kitchen or bar.
WELLBEING
Our version of a spa day - but rooted in nature. This is a restorative journey designed to make you feel alive, grounded, and whole again. Led by expert guides in a remote Highland setting, the day blends wild movement among the trees, cold-water immersion, lochside sauna, and seasonal nourishment.
It’s about stepping away from pressure, slowing into your natural rhythm, and equipping yourself with practical tools to support clarity, resilience, and recovery. A wellbeing toolkit drawn from both tradition and modern expertise.
Return to what your body once knew. Leave feeling RVIVED - and ready to carry it forward.
A hidden Highland escape - accessible, yet remote.
Step away from the fast pace of everyday life and into our Highland home, created for those who crave privacy, real skills, and time in nature with trusted specialists.
This is the true luxury of slowing down.
Whether you come alone, with a partner, family, or close friends, over three days you’ll be guided by people who live what they teach.
The perfect balance.
Days are shaped by the land: swimming in secret spots, foraging, fire-cooking, and walking the glen. Evenings are hearty and restorative — private sauna sessions, fire feasts, exquisite food and wine, and quiet luxury.
