WEST COAST HUNT
Private Island | Scotland
All inclusive escape | three night, four days.
YOUR ITINERARY
The meet location is 3 hr 15 mins from Edinburgh and 2hr 45 mins from Glasgow.
We’ll make the journey seamless:
Private transfers from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Direct transfers from London or overseas.
Helicopter, private jet, seaplane, or private car - arranged through trusted partners from your chosen location.
You’ll spend the first night in luxury suits with views over the water and have the option to enjoy the sauna as a way to unwind after travel.
That evening, we will gather for a big feast - relaxed, local, and hearty - to talk through the plan for the days ahead.
Before dark, we head to the firing range for an evening shoot. It’s a chance to get comfortable with your rifle, sight-in, and build confidence. Over a dram afterwards, we run through the map and plan for the next day’s crossing.
After breakfast (and an optional swim for those who are keen), we pack up for the day's adventure!
You’ll travel by boat to the island we will call home for the next two days, crossing sea lochs and open water. Depending on the weather and wind, we’ll land on one of several entry points - west, east, south, or north - or directly at the pier if conditions allow.
The adventure begins the moment we step ashore. We start stalking immediately - moving through the island’s native forest and open hill, tracking red deer, fallow deer, wild goats, or wild boar. It’s a full day on the land: exploring, stalking, learning the terrain, and understanding how the wildlife moves.
If we’re successful, the group experiences the full process: dragging the animal from hill to coast, ready for extraction by boat.
By evening, we make our way to the Bothy - your off-grid home for the night. Dinner is a big, authentic feast cooked together, often over a rock oven built outside. We will relax into the evening with a dram of whisky shared by the fire.
On the second evening, we’ll return to your luxury base. A seafront sauna and a celebratory meal will mark the end of your “survive and thrive” island adventure - a fitting tribute to the skills gained, the connections made, and the wild beauty experienced.
Overnight Stay: Luxury suites overlooking the sea.
After breakfast at the Bothy, we take a slower start before heading back out. Day three can be tailored to suit your preferences, whether that be to continue stalking for a second hunt, exploring new ground - perhaps the coastal areas where wild boar are known to roam, or the upper slopes with incredible views.
Or, we will take time to absorb the land - visiting the beaches, learning more about the terrain, or simply resting and watching the island’s wildlife.
If another beast is taken, we handle the same full process of recovery and extraction.
By late afternoon, we return by boat to the neighbouring island, where a sauna and a celebratory feast await. The evening is relaxed - stories shared, glasses raised, and the satisfaction of a big few days in the wild.
A slow start to the day awaits. Enjoy a hearty breakfast and soak up the your surroundings of the luxury suites - perhaps sitting outdoors with your feet up, gazing out to sea - before your transport arrives to take you back to civilisation.
